Arter Precision Grinding Machines
has introduced its new Model E-Flex 20 featuring the unsurpassed
reliability Arter machines are known
for with the desired flexibility necessary for today’s machine
tool industry. The E-Flex 20 was designed with the historic Model
E platform in mind, but upgraded with a 20” rotary table and
the flexibility of horizontal or vertical spindle configuration.
Other design features include CNC
control with 2-axis simultaneous control, 20 H.P. Grinding Wheel
Spindle, canned cycle “fill
in the blank” programming, automatic wheel dressing with automatic
compensation and a constant grinding removal rate with automatic
table speed variation.
Designed and built with mass production capabilities and small part
lot flexibility, the Model E-Flex 20 has been updated with precision
ball screws and mountings and has the optional feature of table tilt
+/- 5 degree for tapered parts or concave/convex parts.
